Infosecurity Magazine: Consumers Choose Easy Login over Passwords

June 15, 2018 — Study shows that consumers much prefer to use alternative login methods than passwords.

Robert Capps, VP at NuData, comments on a report issued yesterday by Infosecurity Magazine disclosing that new research by companies Blink and Trusona shows a strong preference to differing authentication solutions. 70% of those surveyed admitted the preference to alternatives, and their behavior in a test confirmed this, with 84% taking action to use different authentication methods upon trial.

Passive biometrics and behavioral analytics are technologies that can provide this level of monitoring without adding friction to legitimate users, thus creating more convenient experiences for users.
